Since there isn’t a library here I figured this way at least you would have some books and maybe you can start your own small one. You can trade back and forth with the ones I am giving to the other one if you get bored of these.

I will trade. But it will not be out of boredom.

[ He puts the books down and considers it a moment before pulling Wei Ying into a hug. ]

Ah! [The action catches him off guard but only for a moment. He wraps his arms around him to return the hug, turning his face upwards to smile at him.]

I guess this means you like it.

[Which makes him happy. It isn't much but he had hoped they would appreciate the gift.]

[ He doesn't say that that he would've loved anything that Wei Ying gave him. ]

[He would give Lan Wangji the moon if he could.]

Sometimes I ask the hotel for things and when the teas are delivered so are the gifts. And I did well at the competitions a few weeks ago so I asked for some as a reward. I've been accumulating them until I had enough to make it a nice gift.

[billowing]

[ Acceptable. ]

I will read through these and hand them to the other Lan Wangji.

Pretty soon I bet I could give you guys a nice big library.

[That seems to be his goal. He doesn't really have anything that he wants for himself so getting things for the two of them is what makes him happy.]

I don't need an entire library. But I appreciate the effort.

[He tilts his face so he can look up at him.]

I have Wei Ying. I have Xiongzhang.

Mm..There is nothing else I need either. There are people that I miss, but I wouldn't wish for them to be here.

[He lays his head back down against him again. He wishes he could see them again but he wouldn't want anyone to have to deal with all that being at the hotel entails.]

[ He cards his hand through Wei Ying's hair softly, and shifts against him. ]

Then let us hope it is just us.

I already have more then I need or deserve since I've been able to meet you.

[If all he needs is Lan Zhan, then having two means he has so much extra love in his life. Which is a lot different from all those years when he thought he had nothing.]

[ He shakes his head. ]

Wei Ying deserves everything.

[There are far more people who think he deserves nothing but death. And he simply feels lucky that Lan Wangji would want him at all.]

And who is correct, me or everyone else?

[He laughs and uses one hand to smooth Lan Wangji's robes and remove imaginary dust as if he was ruining perfection by being attached to him.]

The great Hanguang-Jun is always right.

[He reaches into his robes, pulls out the little empathy with his one hand that is not around Lan Wangji and sends a heart. Then leans up and gives him a quick kiss on the cheek before he can protest]

Since Lan Zhan doesn't need anything else, I give him books and affection the only ways I can.

[ He quickly sends one back, and then pecks Wei Ying on the crown. ]

We have said little else on this device.

Do we really need to say things on here when we can just say them in person? This is about the only reason I even use it.

[He prefers to just talk to people in person versus through the device but it did come in handy to find Lan Wangji quickly to give him his gift.]

Do I need to send you notes every day now as well as hearts?

[Because he will..]

What I have to say to Wei Ying, I can say to his face.

He does think they sometimes need to draw a thicker line between them. ]
