[ He nuzzles into his hair because he just likes to hear it, not just that Wei Ying iwll call him back aimlessly, but that they find themselves on the same wavelength. ]
[There is contentment here. Even if he teases and plays and pushes the boundaries at times, he finds himself oddly content just to be in this Lan Wangji's arms. They somehow keep ending up wrapped up in such a way. He nuzzles against his neck in response to that attention to his hair.]
[ The closer Wei Ying gets, the more Lan Wangji wants to hold him and keep him safe. He rests his chin on Wei Ying and reaches for his hand so he can lace their fingers. ]
[He smiles as that hand finds his and he slides his fingers between Lan Wangji's. Wei Wuxian seems to need protecting given everything that has happened at the hotel. Every day he sees those golden fillings when he looks at himself in the mirror and it is a nasty reminder of just how sinister the underbelly of the hotel really is.]
[ Lan Wangji softly runs his hands over Wei Ying's back, as if his touch might replace those gold lines with something else, something less scarring. ]
[He starts to softly hum their song, or at least the version of it that he knows. Feeling completely relaxed and soothed by that hand in his and the one moving over his back.]
[It's not surprising that the other him doesn't know it yet considering he learned of the name of it in this place. He was able to piece everything else together back on their world.]
Well..we're not terribly bright when it comes to figuring certain things out.
[Pretty much completely naive when it comes to anything in regards to Lan Wangji. At least that is how it used to be.]
[He lays his head back down. He feels rather pleased that there is something he knows that his soul twin doesn't.]
Then don't. He'll get it eventually, or at least be able to piece some of it together. Part of the fun was trying to figure it out and harassing Lan Zhan about it.
Mm..asking him about it when he wasn't expecting it. Or trying to make him say it in a roundabout way. Or pretending like I knew just so I could get him to say it with me. I guess it started off by me trying to figure out how he knew it was me on the mountain. Then when I figured out it was because of the song I wanted to know why. And then when I knew why it came down to figuring out the name. It was a very long process. But it was fun.
